Alex Perialas is a record producer, most notably in what is widely known amongst heavy metal fans as the "golden age" of thrash metal in the mid–1980s to early–1990s. He later went on to work with hardcore punk band Bad Religion, groove metal band Pro–Pain and hip–hop/rock band Such A Surge.
As well as being the owner of Pyramid Sound Studios in Ithaca, New York, where he still does mixing and recording, he gives lectures on Audio Recording and the Music Industry at Ithaca College.
