Alene B. Duerk (born 29 March 1920) was the first female Rear Admiral in the United States Navy. She was promoted in 1972 and was also chief of the Navy Nurse Corps.
She was a 1974 recipient of a Distinguished Alumni Award of Case Western Reserve University's Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.
