AirTrain (SFO)

AirTrain SFO is a fully automated people mover at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The system was built by Bombardier at a cost of $430 million US and opened February 24, 2003.

AirTrain SFO operates on two lines, Red and Blue. The Red Line travels in a clockwise loop, serving stations at the airport terminals and parking garages in the following order:
- Garage G/BART
- International Terminal G
- Terminal 3
- Terminal 2
- Terminal 1
- International Terminal A
- Garage A
The Blue Line travels in a counterclockwise loop, serving the same stations in reverse order. In addition, between stops at Garage A and Garage G/BART, it leaves the loop and the serves the Rental Car Center. Going to and from the Rental Car Center, it also stops at West Field Road.

The AirTrain fleet comprises of 38 cars built by Bombardier of Montreal, Canada. It is their CX-100 System, the same used at Tampa and Denver International Airports. The train cars are wheelchair accessible ().
