"Ain't Goin' Down ('Til The Sun Comes Up)" is a song released by American Country Music artist Garth Brooks. It reached #1 on the Billboard Country Charts in 1993. It debuted on his In Pieces album and also appears on The Hits, The Limited Series and Double Live. The song was written by Brooks, Kent Blazey and Kim Williams.

A girl heads out for a Friday evening date at six in the evening. Her mother tells her to be back in bed before dawn. After the teenagers see a show and get a bite to eat, they head down to the creek by the boondocks for some late-night dancing. Eventually, they spend the night there and head out to her house at 4 A.M. They reached the girl's house at 6 A.M., but the rooster crowed at five. The girl is grounded and punished with chores, but sneaks out again that evening.

Musicwise, the song is bright and very fast. Harmonicas are heard throughout this piece and are given a few solos as well. Garth's vocal range for the verses, for the majority, is very limited.
