Ahsan Habib (February 2, 1917-July 10, 1985) was a popular and well-acclaimed Bangladeshi poet.

Ahsan Habib was born in 1917 in the village Shankarpasha in what is now Pirojpur District, Bangladesh. He studied in Pirojpur Government School and graduated from it in 1935. Later, he attended Brajamohan College in Barisal, but dropped out due to financial difficulties. Later, he pursued journalism as a career. He was an editor of the literature page of the Daily Bangla when he died in 1985.
Ahsan Habib's son Moinul Ahsan Saber is a well known writer.
