A Raisin in the Sun (film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Raisin in the Sun is a 1961 feature film starring Sidney Poitier, Ruby Dee, Roy Glenn and Claudia McNeil. The adaptation was based on the play by Lorraine Hansberry.
There are few differences from the original play and the film. One of which is the scene where Lena Younger (Claudia McNeil) gives Walter $6,500. In the play, this is done in the only setting throughout the play, in their apartment. However, in the film, this is done in a bar.
