That I disagree with the attempts by pedophile advocacy Wikipedians to classify touching up underage boys as "pederasty" than as pedophilia which it in fact is is not vandalism. You are also using false templates as presumably there are supposed to be two other warnings first

Well, this is an ugly situation. 86.132.38.141 is acting with the good of Wikipedia in mind, and taking drastic action which he honestly feels is warranted. 86, from what I can see you weren't temp-blocked for vandalism per se, but for disrupting the Wikipedia - massive unilateral changes aren't a good thing. Yeah, right. That's like me going to every page about Germans and calling them all Nazis. I've seen his edits, and he is clearly here to start trouble. He's gone to the pages of gay rights activists and called them pedophiles. He's gone to articles about pederasty and call it pedophilia. The fact that is, this person is so ignorant he has no idea that pedophlia is about "touching up" PREPUBESCENT children, not everybody lumped in as younger than whatever a country's arbitrary age of consent laws specify as being an adult.

Easy there. The word pedophilia is often used to include contact with anyone under the age of consent. To me, it seems that his main beef is with the phrase 'pederasty' since it doesn't state the involvement of pedophilia clearly enough. I was not "soap-boxing"

The fact is that "love for underage boys" is exactly the same thing as "love for underage people of either sex"
It's pedophilia, pure and simple. Sexual love for children or feeling that children can be erotic, or actively abusing children. Just about every law agrees with me here, why is this blatantly biased POV, naming and categories given special dispensation on Wikipedia?

Note I did not "vandalize" any "gay activists": I simply changed those that were classified as "pederasty" to pedophilia as they belonged in, and those ones that exclusively support pedophilia to pedophilia advocacy, which is also true.

86, can we talk this out once your block expires? The word 'pederasty' is in long-standing and established use to mean a tutelary relationship between an adult and a child that has an erotic aspect. This was common in the ancient world - heck, even institutionalized in Sparta. Nobody's saying that it wasn't also pedophilic! Why then is it reverted every time I put Category:Pederasty into Category:Pedophilia, if they are in fact also pedophilia and people agree with this? It seems some people here want to hide the true nature of it

FYI I changed it twice and someone changed it back each time before I went and changed other articles to go into the pedophile category instead (since someone was obviously trying to hide that it's pedophilia) --86.132.38.141 19:26, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry you did not understand this the first time I said it, but it's important you realize this before you make changes to articles about pederasty and pedophlia. Pedophilia is a mental condition in which one's idealized sexual partner is a PREPUBESCENT child. Pederasty is a sexual relationship between a male of full physical maturation and an adolescent male. If you try to categorize pederasty articles into pedophile categories (or vice versa), you are going to run into quite a bit of resistance -- because the only relation those practices have with one another historically or even medically is that they involve sex with persons deemed "under-age" -- as you call it -- by some states. In fact, "pederasty" and "pedophilia" are terms derived from separate period of history, in which humans perceived sex in entirely different ways, and are practices involving two biologically different categories of persons. When you leap into articles and start making all sorts of dramatic changes with vindictive edit summaries, you are going to be blocked. It's not because there is a pedophile conspiracy aiming to suppress your condemnations. It's because this is an encyclopedia that aims to report facts, not to be a sounding board for people's political opinions. If you don't know the difference between pedophilia and pederasty, and you start editing all the articles relating to those two subjects, don't be surprised when people start raising concerns. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. First, I have never heard of anybody being convicted of "pedophilia." And I would like for you to point to any news article or online statute that calls "pedophilia" a crime. The collection of "erotic" material of underage children is called "possession of child pornography." The sexual assault of minors is called "committing lewd acts on a minor," "sexual assault of a minor," or some other expression. Pedophilia is clearly defined by DSMIV (a book with which I am sure you are intimiately familiar since you profess so much knowledge about this topic). Pederasty is a term which dates back to ancient Greece. In fact, the term is derived from the words "paid," meaning boy, and "eros," meaning erotic love.

Second, I do not touch or "touch up" anybody besdies my adult boyfriend. It's funny that you scream at the top of this page that "just because somebody disagrees with you does not mean that they are a vandal," while at the same time you accuse me of of being a child molester simply because I have pointed out the errors in your contributions to wikipedia. At the very least, this indicates that you have no business posting on wikipedia, especially on subjects about pederasty or pedophilia. I will report this accusation to an admin. One person was convicted of pedophilia, I think, but he got off free because the courts couldn't convict him under thoughtcrime. Also, some countries where the age of consent is under 16 include Albania, France, Indonesia (where, technically, pedophilia is legal as there are no same-sex intercourse laws), Korea, Russia, and Spain.
