I removed your proposed deletion template from Interstellar because you seemed to believe that the film did not have any references outside IMDb. Please note the second reference in the article from SpielbergFilms.com in which Spielberg talks about Interstellar in an interview. You'll have to excuse me. When I deal with upcoming film articles, I see speculation as information processed from the rumor mill via "anonymous scoopers", which is why I didn't see the Spielberg interview in that light. I understand how the distant date of producing Interstellar can make it a crystal ball possibility, but I think what should be explored is if Spielberg, a very notable director these days, has ever reneged on an announced project in his history. I'm fine with you nominating the article for deletion; I've actually considered the notion myself for that film and Lincoln. The article can always be recreated at a later date if production is underway. I'm interested in seeing how editors would vote for an upcoming Spielberg film as opposed to an upcoming project attached to a lesser-name director. --Erik (^talk/_contrib) @ 06:24, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Believe me, I don't consider the Internet Movie Database to be very reliable; it's a source I tend to avoid when building up articles on upcoming films. The site seems to be a mish-mash of professionals and people who pretend to be professionals -- sometimes valid cast lists show up out of the blue, sometimes really invalid cast lists do the same. By the way, you might want to put the reasoning you had on Interstellar's talk page in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Interstellar (film) to get the ball rolling on this nomination deal. --Erik (^talk/_contrib) @ 06:59, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
