My source was the Social Security Death Index (http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi); type in Arnold in the Last Name field, Everett in the First Name field, and 1899 for Birth Year and you get one result. I know it isn't definitive, because this man could be someone else with the same name, but he is born on May 20, which was listed as his birthdate before I changed the year, and as you say, the college graduation year would also tend to corroborate my theory. Anyway, do you think this source is reliable enough?
