Devon je nemetropolitné grófstvo, ceremoniálne grófstvo a tradičné grófstvo.

Kedysi sa nazývalo Devonshire, ale dnes sa tento tvar používa už len ojedinelo a v niektorých menách a tituloch (napríklad vojvoda devonshirský).
