Ob (town)

Ob (Russian: Обь) is a town in Novosibirsk Oblast in Russia, located some 17 km west of Novosibirsk. Population: 24,800 (2005 est.); 23,000 (1974).
Known as a settlement of Tolmachyovo, it was renamed to Ob in 1934 and granted a town status in 1969. It hosts Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport.
