Marcel Pronovost (born June 15, 1930 in Lac à la Tortue, Quebec) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who played for the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League.
Marcel was one of the best defensive defenseman of his era. He was an important member of the 1950s Red Wings dynasty that won three Stanley Cups as well as the 1967 Maple Leaf team. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1978.
