I'm Going to Tell You a Secret is a documentary which followed Madonna on her successful Re-Invention Tour, from dancer auditions to rehearsals and opening night all the way through the final show and her visit to Israel in the fall of 2004. The film premiered commercial-free on MTV in the United States on October 21, 2005.
The film was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, whose previous credits include various music videos, commercials and the cult hit film Spun. It can be seen as the follow-up to In Bed With Madonna (known as Truth or Dare in the U.S.), which was released fourteen years before. In both films, the backstage scenes are shown in black and white, while the live performances are filmed in color.
I'm Going to Tell You a Secret was released on June 20th 2006 as a CD+DVD (CD case), DVD+CD (DVD case) and Digital Download.
Paradise (Not For Me) was heavily played on I'm Going To Tell You A Secret.
