United States presidential election, 2004, in Massachusetts

Massachusetts is one of the most Democratic states. In the 2004 presidential election it was also the home state of Democratic candidate John Kerry, who represents Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate. Kerry won Massachusetts, with a 25% lead against George W. Bush who did not actively campaign there.
The 2004 Democratic National Convention that took place from 26 July to 29 July 2004 at the TD Banknorth Garden, then called FleetCenter, in Boston, the state capital.
