Newtoni lex prima et secunda a Principia Mathematica.

Leges motus tres axiomata 1687 scripta sunt in opere magno Isaaci Newtoni, Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, quae basem mechanicae classicae fundant. Illa axiomata motum corporum massam continentum explicant. In volumine textus tertio, Newtonus monstravit ut leges motus, cum theoria eius gravitatis universalis, leges Kepleri planetarum motus explicavit.

Inde in breve leges sequuntur:

  • Lex prima: Corpus in motu continuare in motu, et corpus quietus manere quietus solet, nisi a vi agitur.
  • Lex secunda: Vis tota in corpus imprimens aequat productum massae ab acceleratione multiplicatae.
  • Lex tertia: Pro actione omni, est actio aequa atque adversa.
