Cactus
From Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia written in simple English for easy reading.
A cactus is a type of plant that can live for a long time without water. They are usually found in desert areas. The plural of cactus is cacti. They are commonly mistaken for an irritance or a burden on the land in which they reside, however that is not true. Cacti are indeed very useful to the wildlife living in desert areas. They provide both shelter from the sun as well as meager amounts of water on which desert creatures thrive upon.
