Sub-categories may be created to contain awards from specific countries or leagues, or to contain players that have won the award. This category should only contain sub-categories named in the standard Category:yyyy in football (soccer) format. In each of these sub-categories, all year-specific articles on competitions played during the course of the year should be placed. The sub-categories may contain more categories on year-specific events having its own category.
