[edit] Goals
- To provide basic information on non-league clubs and competitions
[edit] Projects
- Reduce number of clubs stubs (see Category:English football club stubs) There are currently around 800. If all participants aimed to make one club article per day non-stub, then it would not take long. (I'm assuming more participants will get involved soon). Things I feel a club page should have to be made non-stub:
- Details of league played in, and rough geographic location (county / borough).
- Completed infobox
- Brief history and club records (Football Club History Database is useful here, but always cite your sources)
- Link to club website
- League template (where there is one - see User:tompw/leaguetemplates for current list
- See Chippenham Town F.C. for an example of a article with the minimum for non-stub status
- Tompw 18:48, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- Expand league articles. Most of the articles for leagues at levels 9/10/11 are little more than stubs. Any league article should include:
- Geographic area covered
- Current number of divisions / teams.
- Recent champions, if not all.
- League template (for all divisions), plus promotion/relegation info
- External link

[edit] Tasks
- ?
[edit] Adopt an article
Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
