Liên hoan phim Berlin

Liên hoan phim quốc tế Berlin, còn được gọi là "Berlinale", là một trong những đại hội điện ảnh quan trọng nhất châu Âu và thế giới và đón nhận nhiều khách nhất thế giới. Liên hoan phim được tổ chức từ năm 1951 hàng năm trong tháng 2 (năm 2006 từ 9 tháng 2 đến 19 tháng 2).
Ban giám khảo thường chú trọng vào representing films from all over the world, from the former Eastern Block countries as well as from Western countries. The awards are called the Golden and Silver Bears (the Bear is the symbol of Berlin).
The premieres are held in the "Berlinale Palast" located at Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 1.
