Autumn
From Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia written in simple English for easy reading.
Autumn and fall are both words that can be used to mean the season between summer and winter.
In the many places autumn is the season during which most crops are harvested, and deciduous trees (trees that lose their leaves every year) lose their leaves, usually after turning yellow, red, or brown. Also, autumn is often the time a new school year starts.
When it is autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, it is spring in the Southern Hemisphere; spring in the north also means it is autumn in the south.
