WUVP-TV is the current Philadelphia affiliate of the Univisión Television network, licensed to Vineland, New Jersey. The station targets Hispanic-speaking viewers.

The station signed on June 22, 1981 as WRBV. It was a part over-the-air running syndicated shows by day and subscription television Wometco Home Theater by night. Eventually in 1982 they picked up Financial News Network during the day when WWSG dropped it to run subscription television 24/7. The station was owned by a local group called Renaissance Broadcasting of Vineland (not to be confused with the Renaissance Broadcasting Company, which was later sold to Tribune).

The station suffered financial problems and by 1985 Wometco Home Theater would fold. WRBV began broadcasting music videos after 5 p.m. and later were sold to Asbury Park Press in June 1985. They became a general entertainment station using the call letters WSJT, South Jersey Television. They were unable to buy the best programming because Grant Broadcasting acquired most of the programs for their new WGBS-TV, when they switched from pay television to regular independent that fall. As a result, WSJT ran old shows from the 50's and early 60's such as sitcoms, dramas, old movies, music videos, etc.

In 1986, Silver King Broadcasting, the Home Shopping Network's television station group, would purchase WSJT and run HSN programming on the station full time starting on December 31 of that year; the station was re-called WHSP, "Home Shopping Philadelphia". The station was sold in a group deal to Univisión in 2001; in January 14, 2002, it picked up the Univision affiliation as WUVP.

WUVP replaced the repeater of New York City's Univisión station, WXTV, which aired on WXTV-LP channel 42. Following the switch, that station became the affiliate of Univisión's new Telefutura network, as WFPA. Unlike most Univision affiliates, the station currectly does not air any local newscasts. However, it does rebroadcast newscasts from sister station WXTV in New York.
