Please for bot flag for my bot. It's interwiki bot working on cs:, his main domain is human assisted problematical interwiki and interwiki for same names of articles (this operation is working on about 40 languages at same time, but maximal 10 pages per day).

Sometimes this bot do standard interwiki addiction, but only in the languages with bot flag.

Bot is based on pywikipedia. Already with bot status: cs, eo, sl, pl, de, sr, hr, da, en, el, es, it, sk, sh... Awaiting for bot: fi, pt, bn, ...

Solving problematic interwiki means, that bot find all links from this page to another language, in taht languages find next links etc.. If link is to another namespace, bot will ask me, if it may follow this link. In the end, bot will write me list of all found pages in some language and all links from anothr langs which directs to this page. eg:

 (1) Found link to  bs:Saruman in:
        en:Saruman
 (2) Found link to  bs:Melkor in:
        cs:Morgoth
        en:Morgoth

or

 (1) Found link to  he:שר הטבעות - דמויות in:
        en:List of Middle-earth peoples
        he:סארומן
 (2) Found link to he:מורגות' in:
        bs:Melkor
        cs:Morgoth
        da:Morgoth
        en:Morgoth
        gl:Melkor

Now I must select one (or none) of these links for every language. I usually select the link, which has most links from correct word. Usually only one or two langs have bad links or one from langs is redirect to another article (with another interwiki). (In the examples above was german article redirect to list). Sometimes, of cource I must give up solving, because I'm not able to choose correct article (articles are too similar).

I'd like to request bot status for User:Erwin85Bot. I'm an active user and sysop on nl: and I'll work on adding interwiki's on nds-nl:. However to minimize the server load I'd like to add backlinks from other wikipedia's to nds-nl as well. So other bots don't have to load the same pages again. The bot will always run manually assisted. In cases where I don't know what interwiki to use, I will simply give up. • I do not understand the need for permission on bg.wiki if the bot is going to add on nds-nl . Is it going to add there or from there? Anyways given the intention to run always in manually assisted mode - аз също съм За. -- Златко ± ^{(беседа)} 15:39, 26 септември 2006 (UTC)
  • I want to start on nds-nl so it will add interwiki's to that project. However if this project doesn't have all the links that I find, I want to add those to bg as well. In example if I add a link to bg on nds-nl I want to add nds-nl to bg and if bg doesn't link to x I want to add a link to x on bg. I request a bot flag for my bot. I (fr:User:Sebcaen) come from french wikipedia and I'm a sysop there. The bot is made for interwiki's link, specially on sport domain. I'm requesting bot status for my interwiki bot (pywikipedia, interwiki.py) on this wiki. I am an admin at sq:wiki, and run the bot from articles there. Mainly new articles and articles whithout iw links. BetBot currently has botflag on sq, de, pl, it, nl, fr, en, es, sr, eo, sv, bs, sl, mk, ru and waiting on some other Wikipedias. --BetBot 18:42, 18 октомври 2006 (UTC)

Редакцията на бота е некоректна, но заглавията и съдържанието на двете статии представят определена гледна точка като факт, което е нарушение на У:НГТ + У:ПН (приоритет на наложената форма).   Верижката не е дълга - някой при нас решава да представя напъните на Столман за факти -> появява се статия Линукс (заглавието ни на български, ни на друг език се използва само за ядрото) -> човекът решава, че грешката е техническа и я оправя.   За теб може да са напъни, за мен са си факти - „Debian използва Linux kernel (ядрото на една операционна система), но повечето от основните ОС инструменти са създадени от GNU проекта; което е причина да носят името GNU/Linux.“ Оттам насетне можеш да ме виниш в пропагандиране на дебианска гледна точка, защото аз лично ползвам най-вече този вариант.

  Нещо повече, приемам основанията на Столман за законни, защото copyleft не е същото като обществено достояние - нещата по GNU продължават да си имат авторско право и то изисква съответното позоваване и показване на приноса. Аналогично ако позная (мой или на друг редактор) текст от Уикипедия някъде без надлежно позоваване съгласно GFDL, ще се радвам да го съдя за едната идея. Но това е доста извън тази тема.
