Dance is a sign of love as it is designed for romance with clever performers . Ballroom dance such as the waltz is done with a partner, if possible with a gentleman to show a romantic , slow routine and movements of the body.
Dance refers to human movement either used as a form of expression or presented in a social, spiritual or performance setting. Dancing is both an art and sport. [edit] Choreography
Choreography is the art of making dances, and the person who does this is called a choreographer. The choreographer then teachers the dancer to students or fellow peers.
When dancing, it is a lot easier to dance in clothes that you can move around in. Tight flexible pants and top are most suited. When dancing ballet, you are required to wear tights with a leotard. There are also different types of foot wear for certain styles of dance. In classical you either wear flat ballet shoes or point shoes (wooden). In tap, you are required to wear tap shoes so your movement makes a noise. Contemporary dancers prefer to dance in bare feet and breakdancers prefer sneakers.
Before dancing it is important to strech properly just like any other sport. Muscles first, then joints. It makes it a lot easier to move around and a lot safer for your body.
Also dancing can help with gymnastics and gymnastics can help with dance. It is a process that is great!
[edit] Dance
Did you know that Paris opened the first dance academy? The year was 1661. Only men were accepted until 1681 when women were accepted too. Modern dance can be called '20th Century concert dance' . Ballroom dances are forms of modern dance. Evrythmy, a form of dance, uses both formal and traditional moves with the new freer style of dance. Many people experience the art of dance and for some people it enjoyable. Dance can also be a regular exercise that makes people healthy. Dance moves can be fast, slow, big, small, up and down, or on the floor.
Dancing schools, exams and work where one must be paid are commonly available and to do extremely well, a passion for dance is required. Years of practice is needed to become an experienced and flexible dancer.
Dance can be used as a form of communication between humans or humans and animals, it is a way of becoming an object or it is musical, mythological or a funny piece of work. Classical ballet (say 'bal-ay' ), tap, folk, dance gymnastics, figure skating and synchronised swimming are types of dance. 'Swan Lake' has been shown to the public using ballet.
To make (or choreograph ) a dance, counting the movement you wish to include is helpful. Usually, a two moves will last until the numbers '1, 2, 3, 4' or '1 , 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8' are said. An example of a movement is the interesting and simple move called the Windmill . Hair must be loose and long. Keeping in one spot, the dancer then turns her body around.
Without moving and holding your muscles and joints prior to dancing, dancing can make muscles painful or people who do not have strong backs can hurt themselves. Dancing must be safe - there should be a big floor space with nothing to injury you.
