WRQX

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

WRQX, "Mix 107.3", is an adult contemporary radio station serving the Washington, D.C. area. Its slogan is "We play the best mix of...everything," suggesting that the format is starting to resemble the Jack FM stations.

The station is currently owned by ABC Radio, although like all other such stations, it is being sold to Citadel Communications.

Before it adopted its current format in 1991, WRQX was top 40 station "Q107." That had been the station's format dating back to 1979; before that, it was easy listening outlet WMAL-FM, sharing the same call sign as 630 AM.
