Mangotsfield United F.C. is a football club based in Mangotsfield, in the Greater Bristol area of England.
The club's traditional nickname is The Field, although in recent times they have been referred to as The Mangos. The home strip is claret and blue, and the away kit is black and white.
Mangotsfield United play their home games at Cossham Street, which has also played host to Bristol Academy W.F.C. home games in the past.
There are reserve and youth teams affiliated with Mangotsfield United. The reserves play in the Somerset County League, the youth team play in the Somerset Youth Floodlit League Premier Division and there are various junior teams playing in the Avon Schoolboys League.

Football in Mangotsfield began in 1888, when Mangotsfield F.C. were formed. Mangotsfield F.C., who were founder members of the Bristol and District League, lasted for ten years before disbanding in 1898, having finished bottom of the Amateur Section, Division 1 in that season. Over the next few decades the club reformed and disbanded on several occasions.[1]
In January 1951 Mangotsfield F.C. disbanded their reserve team due to financial difficulties, leaving several reserve players without a team. These players founded Mangotsfield United F.C. and entered the Bristol and District League, Division 7 in the 1951-52 season.
Mangotsfield United found immediate success, gaining five successive promotions in their first five seasons, and were elected to the Bristol and District Premier Combination in 1957. The club played in this league for 15 years, before being accepted into the Western League for the 1972-73 season.
The team remained in the Western League despite winning the league title in 1991, with Harold Jarman at the helm, due to the ground not reaching the standards required by the Southern League for promotion.
Promotion to Southern League Division 1 West (since replaced by Division 1 South & West) was finally gained in 2000[2], with a championship-winning season in 2004-05 earning them a place in the Premier Division, where they have remained since.
