Granite
From Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia written in simple English for easy reading.
Granite is a type of rock. Deep in the ground, chemical elements under high pressure and temperature turn to granite very slowly. The pressure and heat melt the elements together. Some elements fuse into crystals. Sometimes the deep rock layers come to the surface of the earth because of geologic events.
