Free software
From Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia written in simple English for easy reading.
Free software is software that may be run, shared, and modified by anyone, at any time, for any reason.
In 1984, Richard Stallman started the free software movement when he began the GNU project.
Free software is not the same as freeware. Freeware usually means that you can download it for free, but that is all.
