The Supremes - afroamerykańska, dziewczęca grupa wokalna śpiewająca przebojowy soul. Zespół powstał w Detroit w 1961 i nagrywał dla wytwórni Motown. Była to pierwsza z długiego szeregu grup, w których przyjemna i łatwa muzyka była równie atrakcyjna jak seks appeal wykonawczyń. Grupa uległa rozwiązaniu w roku 1977.
W 1988 grupa The Supremes została wprowadzona do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
