Paul van Dyk (czyt. pol wan dyk, pol wan dajk lub pol wan dijk w zależności od języka, urodzony jako Matthias Paul 16 grudnia 1971 w Eisenhüttenstadt) - niemiecki DJ i producent muzyczny.

Światowej sławy DJ i producent Paul van Dyk urodził się w Eisenhüttenstadt we wschodnich komunistycznych Niemczech. Paul słuchał zachodniej muzyki takich wykonawców jak The Smiths i New Order przez radio. Po zburzeniu muru berlińskiego i otwarcia się nowych wyzwań muzycznych Paul zaczął odkrywać nową muzykę. Jakiś czas po tym wydarzeniu stworzył swój pierwszy remiks i zagrał w legendarnym klubie Tresor. W 1992 nagrał swój pierwszy vinyl z Cosmic Baby "Visions of Shiva" a rok później wydał pierwszy album „45 RPM”. Od tego czasu szybko zdobył uznanie w świecie muzyki trance i systematycznie pojawia się na największych imprezach od Meksyku poprzez Londyn, Tokio do Sydney. W 2003 roku nagrał ścieżkę dźwiękową do meksykańskiego filmu „El Manuel Del Zurdo” za którą został nominowany do nagrody Meksykańskiej Akademii Filmowej. W roku 2005 został uznany za najlepszego DJ'a przez DJ Magazin. Aktualnie Paul Van Dyk jest rezydentem renomowanych klubów: "Twilo" w Nowym Jorku, "Gatecrasher" w Sheffield oraz w klubie w Berlinie.
