Perminalen

Perminalen hotell er et hotell i Nedre Slottsgate i Oslo. Hotellet er et av forsvarets to permisjonshotell (det andre er Perminord i Tromsø). De siste årene har dessuten endel soldater bodd fast her.

Perminalen var tidligere Forsvarets permisjonssenter i Oslo og var da primært et velferdstilbud for soldater, befal og andre med tilknytning til Forsvaret. Nå er hotellet åpent for alle som ønsker rimelig overnatting i Oslo. Opprinnelig het hotellet "Oslo Soldatherberge" og var innviet i en tyskerbrakke ved Frogner gård i 1954. Navnet Perminalen kom først til i mars 1968 etter en navnekonkurranse. På dette tidspunkt var hotellet forbeholdt militærets personell.
I 1998 ble Perminalen åpnet for hele den norske befolkning i nye, lokaler sentralt i Oslo. Noe som har vært populært blant backpackere og andre reisende.
