Norges Hypotekbank

Norges Hypotekbank (Kongeriget Norges Hypotekbank) var en norsk statlig bank, opprettet ved lov av 18. september 1851. Dens formål var å opphjelpe næringene, først og fremst jordbruket, gjennom å gi billige amorteringslån mot pant i fast eiendom. Bankens hovedsete lå i Kristiania, og ble ledet av en direksjon på tre medlemmer; to skulle velges av Stortinget, én av kongen. Ved kongelig resolusjon av 19. november 1881 ble det besluttet å opprette distriktskontorer av banken i Bergen, Trondheim og Tromsø. Bankens grunnfond var opprinnelig 2 mill. kr., og utgjorde 1905 19.500.000 kr. med et reservefond på 1.000.000 kr. Banken gikk inn i Statens Landbruksbank i 1965.
