Josef von Báky (født 23. mars 1902 i Zombor, død 28. juli 1966 i München) var en ungarsk filmregissør.

Josef von Báky studerte først ved den tekniske høyskole i Budapest. Senere begynte han som regiassistent for Géza von Bolváry. 1936 debuterte han som filmregissør. Med miljøstudier og samfunnskritiske dramaer (Die Frau am Scheidewege, Die kleine und die große Liebe) skapte han seg et navn og oppnådde med Annelie 1941 sin første kommersielle suksess. Det førte til at han fikk i oppdrag å lave Universums jubileumsfilm Münchhausen. For den stort anlagte produksjonen hadde Erich Kästner skrevet manuset, Hans Albers spilte tittelrollen og mange Universum-stjerner som Ilse Werner, Brigitte Horney og Leo Slezak ble engasjert som skuespillere.
Etter krigen lavet Báky fortsatt samfunnskritiske filmer som ...und über uns der Himmel, Der Ruf og Die Frühreifen, Hotel Adlon og Die seltsame Gräfin. For sin Kästner-adapsjon Das doppelte Lottchen mottok han 1950 den føderale tyske filmprisen for beste spillefilm.
Han døde 64 år gammel i München.
