Ahmed Rashid

Ahmed Rashid (født 1948) er en pakistansk journalist og forfatter. Han arbeider som korrespondent i Sentral-Asia for Daily Telegrah og har skrevet for Wall Street Journal og andre store aviser.
Rashids bok som ble utgitt i 2000 Taliban: Militant Islam, Oil and Fundamentalism in Central Asia er regnet som et grunnleggende arbeid som avslørte forbindelser mellom internasjonale oljeselskap, Taliban og den amerikanske etteretningen. Boka ble oppdatert med nytt materiale etter terrorangrepet 11. september 2001 og var den mest solgte boka utgitt av New York Times i 5 uker.
