Etterstavinga -ine er ein namnedel som kan gjera manns- eller stadnamn til kvinnenamn. Ho var svært produktiv på 1800-talet, og mange mannsnamn som var mykje brukt då finn me igjen som kvinnenamn med ine-form. Stavinga kan òg nyttast som diminutiv for å gjera kvinnenamn meir forseggjorte eller søte.
Stavinga kjem opphavleg frå gresk. Me finn henne til dømes i Hermine, frå gudenmnet Hermes. Ho vart mykje brukt i Frankrike og Tyskland, og spreidde seg derfrå til Danmark og vidare til Noreg. Sidan er mange former nesten døydd ut, medan nokre få ine-namn, som Kristine og Caroline, er blitt svært populære.
Bruken er nå gått kraftig ned i Noreg, men er fortsatt populær i dei tidlegare nemnde landa. Ine, som opprinneleg var ei forkorting for slike namn, er derimot blitt eit populært fornamn i Norge.
Den latinske forma av stavinga er -ina, som er mykje brukt i Italia og Storbritannia.
