Provincia de Parinacota

La Provincia de Parinacota es una provincia de Chile, perteneciente a la I Región de Tarapacá, y que limita al norte con la Provincia de Tacna en el Perú; al sur con la Provincia de Iquique; al este con Bolivia; y al oeste con la Provincia de Arica. Su capital es Putre. Tiene una extensión de 8.146,9 km². Su población para el 2002 fue de 3.156 habitantes (2.106 masculina y 1.050 femenina).
