Eric Stoltz, es un actor estadounidense nacido el 30 de septiembre de 1961.

Es considerado como el más prominente realizador en el cine independiente. Ha protagonizado películas tales como Mask, Some Kind of Wonderful, y Anaconda. Es conocido por sus papeles sensibles (Mask, Kicking and Screaming) o como criminal sicopáta (Pulp Fiction, Killing Zoe.) Fue originalmente del reparto de Back to the Future (1985), como Marty McFly, pero luego fue reemplazado por Michael J. Fox. Produjo Bodies, Rest & Motion en 1993, Sleep with Me en 1994, y Mr. Jealousy en 1997.

Su rol más reciente fue en la película The Butterfly Effect con Ashton Kutcher. Además fue invitado a un episodo de Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, así como al final de la temporada de la serie Will & Grace.

Fue pareja sentimental de Helen Hunt y vivió con Bridget Fonda entre 1990 y 1998.
