The X-Terminators are fictional characters in the Marvel Universe.
The name "X-Terminators" was originally used by X-Factor at that group's inception. The five original X-Men, Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, and Marvel Girl, had founded X-Factor Investigations, and posed as normal humans purported to be an organization of mutant hunters. When they went into action in costume in public, they posed as another mutant team under the name X-Terminators. Eventually, when X-Factor realized that this ruse was actually a ploy by their former business manager Cameron Hodge to worsen human-mutant relations, they abandoned the X-Terminators identity.
In their time posing as mutant hunters, X-Factor secretly gathered together a number of mutants, including some Morlocks and several adolescents. These young trainees gathered together during the Inferno Crisis, and consisted of Skids, Rusty Collins, Boom-Boom, Rictor, and two younger children, Artie Maddicks and Leech. They took the name "X-Terminators" for themselves, and opposed the demon N'astirh and his minions. They rescued a boy named Taki from the demons, who also joined the team.
The team broke up after Inferno ended. Leech, Artie, and Taki all returned to school. The other X-Terminators all became members of the New Mutants, whom they had encountered while battling the demons.
