World medical systems

Around the world there are many medical systems. Non-western systems are often labelled "alternative" or "complementary" in the West, but in their home nations they are usually regarded as traditional. Non-western traditions such as Shamanism or those practiced by witch doctors are often intermingled with local religious beliefs.
