There is need to raise the editorial quality, make adhere to Wikipedia standards, and increase the number of articles about the largest metropolitan area in Poland - the Upper Silesian Industry Area (pl:Górnośląskie Zagłębie Węglowe). WikiProject Upper Silesian Industry Area has as its aim creating a basis for correcting, augmenting and creating new articles pertaining to USIA, including Metropolis Katowice.
