These Wikipedians tend to think that Jimbo, as one of the founders of Wikipedia and staunch defender of its ideals, probably knows what he's doing most of the time. They applaud his willingness to make tough—and sometimes unilateral—decisions in difficult situations for the good of the Wiki, and assume that most of his decisions are sensible even if they're based on information not available to regular users. This by no means precludes disagreement or criticism, but it does indicate an inclination to give Jimbo the benefit of the doubt.
