White Butte

White Butte, elevation 3506 ft (1069 m), is a prominent butte in Slope County in the Badlands of southwestern North Dakota, located at . It is very small and easy to climb. The Killdeer Mountains, which are about 100 miles north, rise 900 feet from its foothills, but are 200 feet shorter than White Butte.
White Butte is the highest point in the state of North Dakota.
