From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

WECB is a Soft AC-formatted radio station broadcasting on 104.3 FM and licensed to Seymour, Wisconsin.

[edit] History

104.3 WECB went on the air in 2000, becoming the first station licensed to Seymour, Wisconsin. Local businessman and politician Earl Brooker built the station and operated it with a 1970s music format until selling the station in 2003.

On April 1, 2003, Brooker sold WECB to Woodward Communications, Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa, owners of local stations WAPL, WHBY, WKSZ, WZOR and WSCO. Upon taking possession of the station, Woodward changed WECB's programming format to Soft Adult Contemporary as "104.3 The Breeze."

104.3 The Breeze is known for programming non-stop Christmas music every year starting in November. Personalities include John Tesh and Delilah, as well as local personalities Shannon Thomas and Ed Johnson.
