WCFN is the MyNetworkTV affiliate located in Springfield, Illinois. Owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc., it is the sister station to WCIA (TV), the CBS affiliate for Champaign, Decatur and Springfield. Both stations operate out WCIA's Champaign facility. WCFN specializes in coverage for the Springfield area.

WCFN began broadcasting in the mid-1960s as a low-power translator of WCIA, which for a long time had trouble getting its signal into Springfield. WCFN became a full-power satellite of WCIA in 1982, and became a separate UPN affiliate in 2002.

WCFN airs college sports that originate from CBS Sports when WCIA carries Fighting Illini sports (For example, a college basketball game from CBS Sports at the same time as a Fighting Illini basketball game from ESPN Plus).
