[edit] History
Walsh Hall was constructed in 1909 as a male dorm. When women were first admitted into the university in 1972, Walsh as well as Badin Hall were converted to female dorms. Walsh's chapel is dedicated to the Visitation. Walsh's signature event of every fall is the Walsh Academy Fall Frolic, a dance where the women dress up in Catholic school uniforms.
[edit] Current Rector
Sr. Janet M. Stankowski, O.P., is a Dominican sister originally from Adrian, Michigan.
