The event planning arm of Wake Forest is undergraduate student led and run organization known as Student Union. Student union projects include:

  • Homecoming
  • Family Weekend
  • Springfest
  • AWAKE all Night
  • Special Spring Break Vacations
  • Short Courses
  • Special Lectures
  • Events at the Coffeehouse

Their most celebrated and well attended event is the annual "Shag on the Mag" that occurs on the Maganolia Quad (now officially known as the Manchester Quad). A big tent that covers the entire quad is laid out and students shag dance together.
