[edit] Key Notes
The company began with www.Channel4000.com in Minneapolis, originally associated with that market's CBS station WCCO-TV, and rapidly became an ultimate success. That website is now a standalone operation, and WCCO has since relaunched on a separate website.
With 12 million monthly visitors, IBS is the third largest source of online news and information as ranked by ACNielsen. As the largest publisher of local online news, the company plans to continues its growth with the nationally available News That Hits Home.
Internet Broadcasting is known to win multiple awards annually. One example, they won the National Edward R. Murrow Award for Large Market Television Station Web Site of the Year in 2005 -- The website was NBC10.com, furnished for Philadelphia NBC O&O WCAU.

*The Albuquerque and Oklahoma City markets are tied for 45th, with 662,380 TV households each.
In Canada, IBS produced the original version of GlobalTV.com, which was a set of individual station websites rather than a network website, starting in early 1999. In fall 2001, less than two years after their launch, these were integrated into the more successful canada.com portal, which Global's parent CanWest Global has acquired as part of the Southam newspaper chain. CanWest remained an investor in IBS through the mid-2000s.
