Donkarasu (ドンカラス Donkarasu?) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Donkarasu in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]
Donkarasu's name may derive from the Spanish title "don", meaning lord, and the Japanese word for crow, "karasu"; this would mean "lord of crows". "Don" could also be Japanese for "coveting", in which case its name could mean "coveting crow."
The way its previous form Murkrow, acts like members of the Mafia, Donkarasu seemingly acts as a Don, or the gang leader. Its feathers appear like a stereotypical dons hat.

[edit] Biological Characteristics
Donkarasu appears to be a large black crow, with a crest on its head resembling a fedora hat. It also has greyish white feathers on its chest, perhaps resembling a sort of white collared suit. The combined impression gives that of an old man or a stuffed shirt, perhaps similar to that of the Norse god Odin (who, incidentally had a pair of ravens named Hugin and Munin). Its name and species however, might suggest it is a sort of a crime boss (similar to a Mafia Don).It somewhat looks like the narrating-humanoid bird from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
[edit] In the video games
It is famous for being the evolved form of Murkrow, which can only be received by giving a Murkrow a Dark Stone, a new stone introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl along with the Light Stone. It seems to be a reverse of Misdreavus and Mumage, who are obtained only in Pearl, whereas Murkrow and Donkarasu are obtained only in Diamond; additionally, both Misdreavus and Murkrow evolve using the Dark Stone.
Its Bad Luck ability, introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, raises the probability that a foe will score a critical hit on Donkarasu.
Donkarasu has very high Attack, high Special Attack and above-average Speed; this, coupled with Donkarasu's somewhat wide array of moves, makes Donkarasu a useful offensive Pokémon.
