Welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and gives you many benefits, including:
- The use of a username of your choice, provided that it is appropriate.
- The use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you.
- The ability to start new pages.
- The ability to rename pages.
- The ability to edit semi-protected pages.
- The ability to upload images.
- The ability to customize the appearance and behavior of the website.
- Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign your posts and comments with four tildes (~~~~), which will let others know who left it. VegaDark 08:39, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Please read the Talk:Swansea page before putting the festival back in.
Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia. You added a lot of material about Undercurrents (news) and BeyondTV into the Swansea article. I put it into the Talk:Swansea page because it needs some adjusting, and the Talk pages are where working on articles should happen. I listed some of the problems there. Given that the airport is a very contentious issue, it is particularly important that we have references.
I have also created the Undercurrents article because I think it is a better place to go into detail about the festival. To be honest, all that needs noting in the Swansea article is that it takes place. We do not have entire paragraphs about other festivals that take place in the town because it would rapidly become unmanageable that way.
You put the whole lot back in and didn't respond in the talk page. You also put the identical content into the Swansea Airport page, duplicating the content. I'm a bit taken aback. Please reconsider this approach.
If you don't want to put this in the shiny new Undercurrents (news) stub, feel it should go into an article about the festival and, as an anonymous IP, you cannot create a BeyondTV article, drop me a line on User_talk:Telsa and I will create the article for you. Or you can create an account, which will let you create articles yourself. Creating an account is a good idea in any case: it is much easier to contribute to Wikipedia when you can keep a watchlist, for a start!
Hope to see you on the Swansea talk page shortly.

Wikipedia Mediation Cabal
Hi,Thanks for your comment about my "mind being made up". I realise that this was the wrong thing to do, and the case has already been handed over to another Mediator. If you have any more concerns, please contact me here. Thankyou. --Deon555|talk|e 00:41, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Aldershot, again
Keith, can you please rewrite your addition to the Aldershot article. Knowing what is happening is not enough (see WP:OR). The article needs to be well sourced (see WP:RS). Within those guidelines you can write any balanced contribution to the article. What you wrote before was unsourced and from one perspective only. Once does not need to be from the town to write an encyclopedic article. In fact, in may be preferable to NOT live there to get a more objective arrticle. I hope this helps you with respect to future additions. First step is find some good sources. Then we can work on the balance. You are wasting your time adding back the POV content since it will be deleted. David D. (Talk) 15:58, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

- Please stop adding POV comments to the Aldershot article. Also please stop deleting perfectly good text. Hopefully other more responsible users editing from this IP will contribute something more useful to this encyclopedia. You should try it some time. Just pick somehting you care about and have fun expanding the article in a positive way. Wikipedia is much less fun to edit if used to gripe alone. Especially since that type of POV editing will just get reverted. David D. (Talk) 19:50, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
