Ямь, ємь (фінське Нäме) — прибалтійсько-фінське плем'я
Ямь з середини 1-го тис. н.е. жило у внутрішній частині Фінляндії в районі групи крупних озер. Основні заняття: полювання, лісові промисли, лов риби і торгівля. Археологічними пам'ятниками ямь є кам'яні могильники з трупоспаленнями. У «Повісті временних літ» ямь згадується в числі данників Русі. У XI—XII століттях ямь платила дань Новгороду, а з середини XIII століття була скорена шведами (шведська назва ямь — тавасти). Пізніше ямь разом з сумью і західними карельськими племенами утворила фінську народність.
