Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the fifth video game for the Grand Theft Auto games. It was made by Rockstar Games. The game came out on the PlayStation 2 first and later on Xbox and PC. In the U.S. and Canada it was rated mature by the ESRB, for its violence.

The game was first released in North America on October 26 2004 and then on October 29 2004 for Europe. This was only for the PlayStation 2 though. For the Xbox and PC games it was released a lot later in June 2005 just like previous games had.

[edit] Playing the game

It is set in third-person which means you can see the person (in this case it is CJ) on the screen. He is controlled using the left and right analog sticks on the PlayStation 2 controller. CJ, is the character who you use to play with and he can perform different moves. These are shooting, kicking/punching, jumping, and crouching. He can get into a nearby vehicle or steal one if it is being driven.

CJ can drive all sorts of vehicles (not just cars). He can drive planes, boats and now a jet pack which was not in the previous games. In some vehicles that have hydraulics (where the car 'hops') the analog sticks can be used. If 'nitros' have been put on (by using a nearby garage) he can drive at incredible speeds which are lot faster than normal driving.
